Straight physical structure of the brain. If its built differently then it works differently. A child raised with a total focus on mathematics vs. a child (even a twin) raised with a total focus on vocal skills will have different physical structures in the brain. As a person grows, the physical makeup of the brain changes. Neurons are grown in different ways, folds are created, etc. The more differences in an education and an environment, the more physical differences. While no two brains are exactly alike, there are great similarities based on these factors. As a parent, I'm making sure that my daughter (who already has a great skill in logic) is exposed to more math and spatial learning than would be expected. I also make sure that all my children are exposed to a wide array of music, books, and other information. I even have an issue with my daughters school because they want to teach Sefardic Hebrew rather than Ashkinazic Hebrew. It's a difference of 2 or 3 sounds (which I think that Sefardic has lost) but is important to me. The more you expose children to, the more they learn. If you teach a child that someone is bad then they're going to always have that in their head. They may learn differently later but its still part of who they are. This is why I never say that anyone is 'bad'. All arabs aren't bad. There are some that are bad and there are others that are good. Now if only others would take the same care in raising their children. (and yes, I'd tan my children's hides if they went out to throw stones at anyone)
