Well - I finally saw "The Village". I guess "under-whelmed" would be the best way to describe my feelings about it. I saw the "surprise ending" coming within the first 15 minutes of the movie.
The language seemed way too stilted and the whole premise just too shaky to support the film. I'm really a fan of Shyamalan's. "The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" are two of my favorite movies and I really liked "Signs" (a movie a lot of his fans seemed to hate). This one just left me cold and disappointed.
