And then there was the book called "Treason".  It just takes some
people longer to refute propaganda and see the events for what they
are.

All along I said they would not find any WMD and my cousin and I got
into an email debate about it.  After about 3 months he ended an email
with "have faith ..."

Then he just stopped answering the emails and now he refuses to have a
political discussion.

Many people spent a lot of years convinced that the problem with
America was Democrats only to find out that the emperor has no
clothes.  Their pride is taking years to adjust.
