I was Republican until this administration. I am not opposed to republicans as a group nor am I as opposed to Democrats as I once was. (Just as Bush's war in Iraq has created more terrorists than it has eliminated, his policies have lead to more people turning to the democrats for the future of the country) This will bear itself in the next election unless the Democrats choose another inept imp to lead them.
I am opposed to this administration and its followers. I would say that the Democratic support for nationalized health care that Sam mentions is more Socialist than fascist. The current administrations fascist tendencies: Their approach to the media is editorial; (if you don't support the administration you are not allowed access) Their approach to abortion; is state intervention in individual decisions The dictation of their moral values; oppressive Support of the Patriot Act; Overly Invasive (although there is support on both sides of the fence) Lack of transparency: Willingness to lie to the public for a greater good; Demonazation of anyone who does not support them.
