You were probably conservative, more so than republican. Bush is republican,
but hardly conservative.

I think the Dem's are gonna sweep the next elections...in SPITE of their
apparent ineptness as a party these days. It's just the way the country
swings....right, left, right, left....

I'm not opposed to it's followers, per se.

whatever "-ist" it is, it aint "capitalist" :)

Most President's are going to have a rancorous (sp?) relationship with the
media. Presidents wants the media to be nice, media wants to shovel dirt.

Well, that's not what makes it wrong. Drug laws are state interventions into
individual decisions, but few people want PCP legal (cept for Gruss). Their
approach to abortion is wrong because until science can interject one way or
another, it's a purely moral/ethical decision....and the neo-cons love
pushin their morals and ethics.

They would like it to be oppressive....at the moment it's just annoying, if
not mildly dangerous.

You really have to decide what you want. The Patriot Act is a terrific way
for the US to combat the possibility of another 9/11.....but the freedom's
we forfeit to do it are steep. You just have to decide what is most
important to you, and if you are willing to make trade offs.
