Mazda's suck. I own a 2003 Mazda 6. I bought it brand new off the
showroom floor. I have kept up with all service and it has been in the
shop 14 times since I got it for electrical problems: headlights/fog
lights all burnt out, then just headlights burnt out, then just fog
lights burnt out, the A/C fan died once due to failed control unit, the
rear deck BOSE subwoofer was fried, cooling fans ran ALL the time and up
to 10 minutes after the car was off, the battery died (just last week)
from the fans always being on (yet warranty only covered 40% of the
battery cost.

Moral of the story: Mazda electrical sucks period. I wouldn't introduce
another electrical anything into their cars. Honda Accord v6 Hybrid
coming up!
