My 2005 Prius has an RFID key - a little fob that unlocks the car doors when I get close, and lets me start the whole thing with a button press.
You don't have the slot to put the key into under the start button, as my 2004 has? I couldn't get the RFID option since I was getting last years model. I would guess that might work if the RFID failed since it relies on a hard connection to the copper slots on the key. Now if the entire coding of the key fails, we're SOL! -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA "C code. C code run. Run code run.
