I heard a 3 star general in charge of Disaster Response team or
something like that say this was the worst case scenario and they just
weren't prepared for a worst case.
Seems like he'll be retiring very soon. They only deployed 2k National
Guardsmen the day of the hurricane. I guess they thought the locals
could handle it.
I do remember last year before MAX on this list there was talk of New
Orleans being lost, I guess they go through the false alarms every
year.
Now I'm wondering if this General is responsible or if he was sent to
fall on his sword.
