I don't know "works best on the best hardware sounds like pretty standard operating to me". ;^) So far it really is a "bells and whistles" thing - even beta 1 looks to your config and scales itself well enough for the hardware it finds (running on a VM I get no eye-candy at all for example). But by this is actually released (what, two years from now) those specs may not seem so daunting. I'm not sure about the encryption thing... the statement strikes me as odd tho'. I just don't understand it. Why would a local bus need encryption (whether you regard it as "public" or not? And why would encryption out of hand eliminate the possibility of HD? I don't get it.
