I'm glad we're spending our tax dollars on issues of such giant importance. This stupid case has already been litigated right through to the Supreme Court once. I'm not even religious, but this just seems like a gigantics waste of time and money.
But it wasn't. The Supreme Court used a loophole to make no decision. They said that since the man who brought the case was not the legal guardian of his daughter, he could not represent her. Thus this is an attempt to get the Supreme Court to make a ruling.
