I didn't say we should use old education, but new infrastructure. The same type of solution we used to great success in transforming from an agrarian economy to an industrial economy. (that was education, electricity, phones, roads) I'm saying we're facing the same problem now and so we need to be just as progressive about the solution. Your solution is regressive. It treats the symptoms rather than move people into the 21st century's information and creative economies. I understand your reticence. Change is difficult for many people and new ideas are even harder. But it's a new world and we need new infrastructure, not an expansion of old welfare programs couched under heading of "regulation".
