It connects between the guitar and amp. However, some processor can be
connected to the amp's line-out/line-in jacks. But, those
processors/amps tend to be much more expensive.

If you get a processor that is called a "Pitch Shifter", "Pitch
Transposer", "Octaver", "Harmonizer" or something like that, you can
simulate a bass guitar.

Years ago, I purchased a Digitech GPS-21 Guitar Processor and a matching
Digitech Pitch Shifter (I forget the actual name) and I would record
bass parts using my guitar. Once mixed in with the guitar and drum
machine tracks, you couldn't tell the difference.

Just remember bass guitar players never get the pu$$y. ;^)

Hey Mikey what does a guitar processor look like? is it some
rectangular electronic box that hooks up betweenc the guitar and the
amp? or is it something that attaches right onto the guitar? Also, can
it simulate bass?
that way i wont have to buy a bass guitar ehehe.
