Problem is that logic goes both ways. Has Bush been known to lie? Has his administration been known to lie?
Crap now what? Who do you believe? Again, not saying Bush made these statements, there is no way of ever really knowing. I'd say I expect better from the President of the USA and his staff but truth is, I don't. They've descended into the realm of deniability and obstruction rather than the truth. Remember "I did not have sexual relations with that girl". Then later on the quote was something like "well according to my staff and legal counsel a blow job does not constitute sexual relations, so I thought I was telling the truth". How about the Iran Contra Affair? Watergate? Its not party specific, they all lie and try to obstruct the truth from being told.
