The current name for for the Inquisition is the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congregation_for_the_Doctrine_of_the_Faith. Ratzinger's title before he was elected pope was the Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. He followed in the footsteps of such luminaries like Torquemada.
