Is there a standard for speed (rpm)? I was discussing putting Linux on my laptop with someone -- the problem being that I have Flash on it, which afaik does not have a Linux version -- and someone suggested a second hard drive. He carries his around in a little case and it is truew that for about the price of a 1GB USB I can get 20 or 30 gig. Anyway, I ask because Froogle is turning up a 20 gig at the same price as most 4 gig drives, and it specifies an rpm (5400). Anyone know offhand if this is ancient technology? If it's for Linux, do I care if it's slow?
