start with 70/30
then offer 65/35
and go no lower than 60/40

if you REALLY need this person, then you NEED them
as they NEED you.

starting off the other way, you might as well start the company
and then hire them as an employee, then you own 100% of shares.

since the shares are really willy nilly to begin with, its really a percentage
of ownership. you might as well start with some good karma, and go 50/50
if you two TRULY need each other.

thats what needs to be determined in my eyes.
