Most pro lifers believe that life begins at CONCEPTION...when them little spermies meet up with the unfertilized eggs. They believe that potential life is indeed important, but not as sacred as "life". > Clearnly that's absurd. Which is why they don't believe it :) > So is saying that an eight and a half month old > fetus is not alive. The 8 1/2 month fetus is the same living thing it was 7 months ago, only bigger, with more parts. The core is the same. So at what point is it "big enough" to be a person? When it could survive on it's own outside the womb? NO newborns can "survive on their own" outside the womb. Maybe life begins when we first hear a heart beat? Or when we first register brain waves? The point is, we seem to be saying that WE get to determine when life begins....and yet.....we don't seem to be able to actually answer any of the essential questions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:177390 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
