AND - many public school kids I meet are deficient socially if we judge social excellence by the ability to carry on a conversation no matter who the audience. Frequently I'll meet a home schooled kid who will ask intelligent questions and talk with me as an adult. Then they'll turn and horse around with friends with the usual scatological type humor. Public school kids avoid you like the plague, rarely look you in the eye, don't say much more than "yeah", and generally act as if being around an adult is a punishment rather than an opportunity. Of course, that's anecdotal. Although a good study might be to go to the mall. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:177822 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
