Accurate historical facts.  However, it's also accurate to say that
traffic's only going to get worse in other cities if living patterns
don't change.

I would actually add Atlanta to that list.  It does lack good non-car
transport in most of intown, but is getting better.  It's not yet a
community you can live in comfortably without a car, but it's getting
there.  A big upcoming project will link most of the existing intown
communities using paths and trollys.

Even in San Diego I sometimes go for 4-5 days without using my car.  I
choose to live in a urban area, and I don't really have to deal with
traffic as much as a result.

That point is arguable.

Like I said, personal choise - you (potentially) choose traffic.
