So I've been listening to all of the Plame coverage and there's something I haven't heard anybody explore (maybe it doesn't matter): The forged Italian documents.
The timeline is something like this: * VP Office asks CIA for more info on Nukes in Niger * Mr. Wilson returns and says "no". * Forged Italian documents surface saying yes. * State dept (and others) shoot them down but they remain "in play" So who forged and planted the documents? I've heard somebody say the Mossad, but another source said the forgeries are too crappy to be Mossad. So who did it?
