The most recent Thai flu was deadly to children and adults so, had it mutated to stage 3, it may have been very bad. Keep in mind that even if everything goes as Mr. Bush plans there may only be about 20 million doses of vaccine for the US. I'm guessing they won't be cheap. In a pandemic I could see $50,000 per family of four.
