I think his sentence is in the present tense. I was against going into Iraq
and reluctantly in favor of getting to an election before leaving just to
avoid another Saigon, but we have so inflamed the local populationt hat I
think they do see us and not the other local factions as the problem. I'd
say get an international peacekeeping force in there.
