This was absolutely the best episode all season! Normally at some point during a show I glance at the clock just to see what time it is to get a sense for how much is left and usually for LOST it's at about half-past. But with this episode I didn't check the clock until the last 10 minutes.
The deal with the list being only good people was the most amazing revelation. Why do you say "they seem insane"? Is that from an older episode that I missed?
