That's a good piece of analysis. I can't get around the fact that Mr. Woodward did the talk show circuit, calling Mr. Fitzgerald a "junkyard dog", when he was a leakee. That is, he'd been leaked to and, if he truly believed there was no merit to the charge, why didn't he come forward immediately? It's as if he covered up the information on the one hand, but on the other was downplaying the merits of the case.
