somebody tried to abduct my daughter yesterday. I guess that's what you would call it -- on a busy street in a very upscale neighborhood he asked her to come with him and showed her a knife when she said no.
The police took a report and seem to believe her but they aren't actively looking for the guy until he does something else, the logic being that nobody *really* grabs young girls at noon on Moday in that part of town. Apparently this guy tried! what if she had gone with him because she was scared of the knife? And we all seem pretty sure he will do this again, so why not look? Meanwhile he is walking around with a knife thinking these kinds of thoughts. By the way she said hell no and stepped into traffic to attract attention and cause a commotion. She is ok but she is pretty scared. Apparently he told her he had been watching her.
