Thanksgiving parade buzzkill to follow...

So, who really believed that these "stars" were actually singing and
playing their musical instruments in the Macy's parade?

If any of the musicians, on this list, saw the parade, I'm sure they saw
the microphones with their XLR connections and no cables. Hmmm. How
can all of these electronic intruments (keyboards, guitars, etc) be
audible without a cable. Oh, and they aren't wireless. If they were
wireless, you would still see the cable extending from the instrument's
jack running to the belt pack.

Also, how can people sing, with their mouth right next to the
microphone, then pull the mic away to the side, let's say about 12"
inches away, and still have the same volume level as before?

Don't these people know that when you move your mouth even a couple of
inches from the mic, that there is a noticeable decrease in volume?

Let me also mention that you can't record good-quality sound that
originates from tiny speakers on the floats. You know the crowd would
easily drown out any sound from the floats. Therefore, the parade's
directors/producers played-back pre-recorded music, with full vocals for
the lip-syncers (and they were all lip-syncers) and then the sound was
piped directly into the recording console.

Who else noticed all the "fake" flash photography taking place over
Macy's store front? They had the awning, or whatever you call it,
decorated with random strobes to make it look like there were many
people taking lots of flash photos. Jeesh.

Then, what's the fekking deal with the searchlights that would flash
across the balloons? Was that to give the crowd/viewers more of a
Hollywood feel to the parade? It was distracting, damnit.

Then, how many of the performers actually follow the parade for its
entire length? My guess: none. I would assume that the stars hope on
the float a block before Macy's, then disembark on the block after
Macy's. Why, however, would they want to be where no television cameras
were? That would be a waste of their time.

Does anyone remember when the parade was just a parade? Why the hell
did the parade have to evolve into the moveable-stage medly-fest that is
has become?

BTW, the only reason I watched it was because I had no internet access
at the in-laws and the kids wanted to watch it.

I'm so fekking sick of people trying to fake us all out with illusion.
There is no reality or simplicity in anything anymore.
