Actually, I wasn't the only one who picked up on this.  I was surprised
by the number of my in-laws that spoke of these things at the same time.

I don't think anyone, at the in-laws, enjoyed the parade.  I could tell
by their comments that they didn't enjoy the parade.

It's sad because, in the past, the parade could easily keep a child's
attention, but now it has been turned into a huge marketing campaign for
big business.  They lost what really interested the children.

Children don't want to see these people singing on a float that is
supposed to make a point.  Children want to see Scooby, Mickey and
Santa.  They showed very little of those.

No, it doesn't suck being me.  I'm quite happy being me.  That's why I
don't really care what others think when I speak my mind.  That's the
beauty of this list, right?
