Exactly. Personal responsibility.
You don't need infantry and artillery to stop a riot or fight a forest fire. You want to do that most police departments have reserve officers, fire departments have volunteer corps. I never understood the complaining about deployments. I mean, I knew it was coming, it caused a great deal of problems in my personal life, and a great many financial problems, but that goes with the job. I have done 8 years now, and I figure I did my part, let somebody else pick up the ruck for a while. I knew what I was getting into though. Remember people we have a volunteer military now. No one was forced to join. > -----Original Message----- > From: G [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, November 29, 2005 2:38 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: On a Mission From God > > The guys you know should have given a little more thought to > just exactly what they were getting involved in. > > > > hmmm the guys I have known who were in the National Guard were not > > really expecting to serve in Iraq....reminds me of that picture > > someone posted a whiel back of a tank with a banner on it > saying "One > > weekend a month my ass!!!" > > > > Dana > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:184676 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
