Junta is a cool word. But to answer your question, I'm simply making the point that it's easy to send people to war when you've never done it yourself and don't know anyone that's been killed, maimed, or injured. Overall, however, I'd say things have changed so maybe I needn't worry. While some will insist that Congress "voted for war" the truth is closer to "they voted to give the President the authority to go to war *IF* Hussein's UN obligations weren't met". While there'll discussion about that (which can only be cleared up by a thorough review of the Congressional Resolution that was voted on) it will result in one key thing: No future President, for the next couple of decades probably, will be able to send people to war without a productive review from Congress. That should protect our soldiers from wars of choice like Iraq. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get help!
