One the Neo-Con's many philosophical mistakes was in thinking that a democracy can be created at the point of a rifle. To my knowledge that has never happened and everytime it's been tried, it's failed. Democracies start at the local level with neighborhood groups fighting for local rights. These many groups percolate up to form parties and eventually democracy is born. This is a "bottom up" approach. The Neo-Con technique is top down: put Chalabis in place and force elections. Hope that democracy flows "top down". If nothing else, we'll find out if this works. So far it's not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Studio MX from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=50 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:185048 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
