You have no idea how real this show is! The show basically mimics what it's like to work for a Big 3 management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG). People are hired in as a "class" and they work cases that are similar to The Apprentice. All the while they are supervised by managers and partners that are like Caroline. At the end of each case you're reviewed and sometimes verbally eviscerated. You come up for promotion at 18 months and it's not odd at that point to have 10% of the class left. If you make it, you start a whole new promotion cycle, if not you go on "transition". All of the same politics exist: people form cliques and make enemies, etc. Some people are great at it, some are horrible. Either way you have to deal with them to make the case successful. Because if a case goes bad, then that team goes to the boardroom; and somebody WILL be fired. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Dreamweaver with Homesite Plus from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=54 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:185619 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
