The first winter after I moved back to KY, we had a bit of snow. My
mother was concerned about me driving, and suggested that she chauffer
me around. I pointed out that, of all the people in the family, I was
the most qualified to drive in snow. "Mom, I've been living in MN for
three years. I've driven in blizzards and 6 inches of snow. I'm not
worried about the quarter inch of snow on the roads. I'm worried about
the idiots driving on it."
