Puma, the fat and very un-puma-like cat and Buster, the old cat with
arrested development (literally, he still acts and thinks like a kitten)
are buddies. Popcorn is evil, and doesn't play with the others.
Cinnamon, the big bruiser, doesn't have a "medium" setting -- if the
others try to play with him, they tend to get thumped around -- he goes
from lazing about to full-on mode in a heartbeat.

Recently, my sister and her dog came to visit for December. Roxy, the
dog, was curious about the cats. Puma had the most problem with her --
she kept hissing and swiping at Roxy. Roxy didn't seem to understand
that this wasn't a game, and now swipes back with a forepaw. Puma now
thinks this is kinda fun, and is willing to play.

Animals are wierd.
