Yeah, I have installed both Alchemy and DD-WRT and they are unlock more features than the standard firmware, but neither appear to offer to make the router operate as a VPN router. I did find a year old post saying SVEASoft has a VPN capable version, but I can't find a download anywhere.
I find it a little ironic and ethically questionable that SVEASoft is hiding the downloads behind a $20 wall considering the whole reason this is even available is that it's GPL and LinkSys had to release it because of that. -Cameron On 12/7/05, Jim Davis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Cameron Childress [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Wednesday, December 07, 2005 11:41 PM > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: Talisman, Alchemy, DD-WRT and WRT54G? > > > > This article makes it seem easy... > > http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/tutorials/article.php/3562391 > > > > .... but as far as downloads, everything I find is confusing and > > incomplete... > > Yeah... there's not a whole heck of a lot there. > > I use Talisman and love it, but not for the same purpose you're talking > about so I'm not sure how well it will work for you.
