Personally I would LOVE to see a darker movie version of the Joker. "The Killing Joke" would make a great inspiration (where the joker beats Barbara Gordon, Batgirl, nearly to death with a golf club paralyzing her from the waist down). The who story where the joker kills Jason Todd would also be good. Of course they could push "Batman" to the background completely as they did in the classic "Arkham Asylum". I love that scene where the Joker's raising his hand and shouting with glee: "Doctor! Doctor! Harvey's pissed himself again!" Could make a GREAT (if most likely R-rated) flick.
