See this is my point. Lets say this job we have posted is paying 35k - 65k for instance, (completely made up range). Which would you rather...At first the job in SD one is hands down better but once you figure in the cost of living choosing the one here is worth more..the cost of living in Cincinnati is so drastically lower than San Diago.
Same thing can be said of DC, I mean if I got an offer to move to DC for a 90k job...its a larger figure than I make but really I'd be absolutley no better off, heck chances are I would be worse off. How is a place like this suppose to attracked people? Also with cost of living for me personally I work for one of the nations top retailers and I get a discount which reduces my cost of living...
