The 2 war plan has long been a part of US military planning. Actually, the plan has been for 2.5 wars - 2 major wars (like the Pacific Front and the European Front), and a smaller conflict somewhere has been the plan for years. This is nothing new for us. I learned about this in high school in 1988.
