Is reported to be HUGE. Voting hours were extended due to the big turnout. Especially significant was the high Sunni turnout, which perhaps indicates that they are looking to finally join the political process.
I would like to thank the people on this list and elsewhere who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. This election is a testament to the hard work and sacrifice of many people from all over the world, but most especially our American service men and women on the ground who have given an Arab state the first opportunity in history to create a democratic republic.
