i agree.

and as time goes on, and real world, big boy events start to happen
all around me... things that I have no control over... i have started to
become quite cynical about the good of man. i have developed quite
a distaste for trusting people... and no matter how good i want to be
or how good i wish for people to be, i cannot expect anyone to be good.
if i expect people to be good then that would be very non-buddhistic...

from what i have learned, i need to expect nothing from anyone, and
go from there. when people surprise me with kindness and humanity
surprises me with yearning for the common good, then i am happy...
other than that...

i will load my soon to be purchased firearm and sit on my doorstep and
protect my family if i feel the need.

there has to be some balance between my wishes and hope for good, and reality.
because in reality, there is no sense of order in this world, just some illusion
we have all created in order to fleece the police. to keep ourselves
our of jail.

thats it.
