Here's how they'd justify that... because the bodies were found at the
Simpson residence, the entire residence becomes a crime scene, and eligible
for a search....

Whether or not that's legal is up for debate, the judge in this case said it
was, and no one challenged it.

One site, that is a little slanted, claims the search warrant was issued 3
hours after officers first went into the Simpson residence, and that he was
arrested after that.

The glove was found by Furman while OJ was still in Chicago, he had not been
arrested, and no warrant was obtained.
