Actually, the bigger difference is that the Big Bang theory is 
predictive.  It has suggested things before they were ever discovered. 
A good example is black holes -- they were predicted long before we 
found all the indirect evidence of their existance.  I think.  My memory 
is a little fuzzy on this -- I've been reading more about quantum theory 
lately.  :-)

Anyway, ID is not predictive, because it can't tell us what the I might 
do before he/she/it/they do/does it.  So it's neither repeatable nor 
predictive, which pretty much makes it scientifically untestable.
