1.) Evolution teaches genetic adaptation to the environment. That's it. What you're speaking of is an extrapolation which is NOT part of evolution. That extrapolation is evolution-based, but is not part of evolution. 2.) The Bible is a totally subjective document. Everything you see, touch, or do contradicts something in the Bible and that's before you factor in human interpretation. And that's before you factor in Biblical translations. And that's before you factor in Canonization. And that's before you factor in sourcing. 3.) If parents want their students to learn ID then they can send them to church or private school. Public schools are to teach known the basics in a secular manner. Any modifcations to those core teachings can be made outside of school or the children can be removed from school completely. The only way you'd have a point here, is if the government insisted that, say, Catholic schools MUST teach evolution. FINAL NOTE: Private schools can teach whatever they like, but if they're concerned about getting their kids into college then they better teach evolution because most colleges won't accept students without it. And if this ID crap keeps up, eventually you'll have ID colleges which will have to give way to ID businesses that hire ID grads from ID colleges. What a pile of crap. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Homesite Plus with Dreamweaver from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=55 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:189594 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
