All good points. I would never buy an HDTV without seeing it first hand. >From what I can tell about HD with Cable Vs Satellite, the offerings channel wise are about the same. Here the same Cable box with the built in DVR supports HDTV and can record shows in HD, which is nice.
Personally I don't care about having the tuner in the TV. I haven't used the tuner in my TV in several years, and would happy to not pay for that part.
