I have a client who is having intermitting connection problems and when I spoke to a VZ rep, she indicated that ALL telephone lines in the house MUST have filters regardless if they are the LINE that runs the DSL modem.
Such as, the client has 3 different telephone LINES with different telephone numbers coming into their house. 1. DSL & FAX Line 2. Husband's personal line 3. Wife's personal line. Did I mention, they are 3 different copper telephone lines. Now I can understand that a filter is needed between the wall jack and the Fax machine but not required any other place.
