I'll sum up your rant and my views succinctly: - Yes, America as a government doesn't care as much about individual Cubans as they do their collective governing - America's trade embargo most definitely hurts Cubans. The alternative pumps more money into Castro's pocket. You think he'd distribute this to the people he loves so much. Heh, ok. You think capitalism breeds corruption, try putting the distribution of wealth in the hands of a single dictator. Great idea. - I've never been to Cuba. So frickin' what? - I'm sure it's a beautiful place. So frickin' what? - I'm sure there is great architecture there. SFW? - I've got absolutely no idea where you came up with the colonial plantation stuff. Lay off the pipe. - I ranted about capitalism, YOU added the "without conscience". Don't slant my argument to match your vitriolic replies. - Capitalism is working great for the US, thanks for asking! - Greed, from an economic standpoint, has worked great for OUR citizens...not mankind. We as Americans just happen to like helping our fellow man, greed has nothing to do with it. And when did earning money become greed? - Again, i have no opinion of Chavez...other than if he thinks Castro is great for his country, like you do...he's wrong, like you are.
