Thank you, it's nice to be thought of as "above-average" :) But as an American I'd say this list is very representative. The average American isn't a dim-witted fundamentalist Christian cowboy, with thoughts of enslaving the world.
The best way to solve this issue would be for you to come here and stay for a month or two, you'd see that most of us are nothing like our elected officials.
