You're aware that democracy can fail if not implemented correctly, right? Let me try an analogy: Let's say that NM decides to vote on a minister of education and you can vote for anybody. The results come in and psychopathic communist is elected. Why? Because X million New Mexicans voted for X-Y millions of candidates. But the commies had their act together and all 10,000 of them voted for the same guy. Now, even though only 1 in 100,000 people support the new minister, he retools education to include only the study of Stalin and eliminates home school. Has democracy worked? No. Does that mean democracy is a failure? No. It just wasn't implemented correctly. I believe the same thing has happened in Venezuela. > > Just because people vote doesn't mean things will work out. 1000 > > people can elect a dictator even if 100 million vote. Apparently they don't believe in their form of government or democracy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:191108 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
