Gruss is saying that Capitalism = Greed. Capitalism is good and the only viable economic model, and therefore Greed and all that goes with it is good.
Nevermind that Chrisitanity has greed down as one of the 'Seven Deadly Sins'. Gruss also believes that any form of government beside a laissez Faire Capitalist Democracy is wrong. He also believes that any good Capitalist should understand that anything they have is naturally and rightfully made out of the sweat and toil of those lesser than themselves and they should embrace and relish in this fact. If they do not then they are hypocritical....since of course everyone on this earth is driven by Greed. Gruss would, therefore and by careful examination, be quite at home in ye old Germany during the time of Hitler.
