I don't think the carb thing is a problem for me either... because I frequently eat lower carb meals at lunch --and it doesn't appear to make a difference.
High fat meals will also cause the body to direct more energy to digestion. Now if you have plenty of energy to spare, then not so much noticeable effect. Less energy to spare, then its nap time to compensate.
