List this under pet peeves: #1. Blinking online ads - I don't know what the heck you're advertising. I just leave that page that displays anything blinking, especially when the whole darn thing is blinking.
#2. Panic Ads on the radio - I don't need to hear someone screaming "get-up , get-up Tom are you alright what happened" all in a panic while I am driving down the road. There has to be a better way of indicating that your bills (energy, cell phone, Internet connection etc...) are too high. Look some idiot just cut me off, traffic is backed up from here to Baghdad and now someone panic stricken woman is screaming at me on the radio. Really, I don't need the added anxiety in my life. #3. Any radio advertisement that includes the use of a siren. Hey idiot, I am trying to drive. I don't need to try to decipher if the siren is real or not. #4. Any advertisement that advocates lying. "Bob have you seen the toaster doodle?" Bob: as he is shoving the last of it in his pie hole. "no sweetie" big smile for the camera from Bob. I'm sorry but its not ok to lie and I don't think we should be advocating it in our commercials.
